Pori Beach

Idyllic, horseshoe-shaped, sandy beach on the eastern side of the island.
Recommended on days of southerly and westerly winds.
It has two café-restaurants.
When the wind is northerly it is ideal for windsurfing since its shape allows the force of the wind but prevents high waves.

Access is either:

- by taking the coastal road (and later cliff path) from the village, past all the above mentioned beaches plus the Pisina (Pool) and the cave ‘To Mati tou Diavolou’ (Devil’s Eye)
It is hardly a 3.5 km walk and such a scenic route with so many beautiful spots to enjoy and photograph on the way that it is impossible to estimate how long it will take you to arrive.

Or:

- by taking the inland route, which is shorter by a kilometer but just as scenic, with breathtaking views from the hillsides it follows.
Depending on the route you choose, you can get there  on foot, by bike, minibus or the excursion boat.
From Pori you can visit the caves on Xylobati and the Galla Cave beach (Milky).
